Welcome to the Music Room!

My name is Molly Thurmon and I teach K-5 music at Russell. This is my sixth year at Russell. It has been so rewarding to watch Russell students grow over these last few years!

Once upon a time, I was a Russell Raven! Since then, I have graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Music Education. I completed my master’s at the University of Central Missouri with an emphasis in Kodály Music Education. I love learning about music education!

When I’m not singing and dancing, I can be found spending time with my family, tie dying things, reading, and playing with my two cats.
